Before highlighting things to look out for in a Crèche /preschool /Nursery school before enrolling deciding on enrollment, it is key to discuss the importance of enrolling a child in school early.
Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Early years Education (EYE) is the preparatory stage for elementary education. As it is generally referred- Kindagarteen, preschools or Nursery is that stage of education which gives children a jump start in life as it helps them to learn and retain the foundational skills they require to succeed in the future. Starting off late may result in them playing catch up for the rest of their lives

Neurological research shows that the early years play a key role in children’s brain development. Babies begin to learn about the world around them from a very early age and the capacity of a child’s brain peaks at 3 years old. At this age, they soak up new information really fast and retains it at the same rate according to “Ready to Learn DC”. At this point in your child’s life, he /she has the highest potential for learning new things hence, attending an early childhood education program will help your child improve her language and motor skills, she will also develop necessary learning and cognitive skills required when she moves on to primary school.
